Notes

Weight of processor cabinets varies with number of boards loaded, tape and disk specs.
Weights are for typical configuration, unless otherwise indicated (i.e. power supply, disk and cards fitted for working system).
- NB. Weights are measured on scales, as opposed to theoretical as quoted by Symbolics (eg. Symbolics quote 60lb/27.2kg typical for 3620)
Monitors: Symbolics console does not have to be used with color systems, when the
Console interface box (pn 365208-2) is used. This handles keyboard and mouse, so any multi-synch monitor can be used as the main lisp console. Color is supported by any system with appropriate boardset other than the 3620.
Monitors more: Some use X-windows to access their lispm from an external machine (unix, mac, pc) so saving from using a Symbolics console. But then you don't have the joy of using the Symbolics keyboard.
